If there’s something I feel needs to be done, I am determined to achieve it.

Yes, I stay determined even when it takes a lot of time and effort. Because I know that as long as I keep working toward it, I will eventually reap the results.

Take inversion, for example. Since I was young, I’ve always been amazed by my mom’s ability to do a headstand. I used to wonder how she did it. I still remember one time when I asked her to teach me, but the plan didn’t work out—because I was on my period, and my mom could smell it while spotting me. That was so embarrassing! I know she’s my mom, but still, it felt gross to think about. But of course, she still loves me!

And here’s the funny thing—inversion feels like a calling for me. The first time I successfully held a headstand, I ended up winning a medal because of my determination and passion. It happened at a conference where I selected an inversion class without having any solid training. I went in, approached the coach, and told him I wasn’t sure if I was fit for the class. He asked me to do a push-up and said my foundation wasn’t too bad. That moment sparked a deep passion and interest in inversions.

Since then, I’ve been training—not consistently at first, but things changed when I pursued my yoga certification. That’s when my love for inversions truly ignited. I became obsessed, especially with forearm stands. Watching my coach perform them effortlessly made me determined to achieve the same. And after some time, it became second nature to me. The best part? I was able to teach this skill to my students!

Now, I’m still working on my handstand. I know it takes time to master, but I’m all in for it!

One day, I am determined to achieve that effortless handstand.
