“Don’t underestimate what you can achieve in a year.”
Last year, I committed to pursuing my best self—to becoming the healthiest I could be, to changing my lifestyle, and to improving my eating habits.
In the end, I became the healthiest version of myself and lost more than 8kg. I felt the most confident I have ever been in my life. I was incredibly proud of my perseverance and everything I accomplished throughout the year.
It was also the year that I truly understood myself—my health, my needs, and my wants.
The truth is, no one really knows how much effort I put in. It was HARD—really hard. The discipline, the self-control, the consistency. Only God and I truly know the struggle. When I hear people say it’s impossible or that they have no time, I know those are just excuses—because I did it the hard way, and I achieved what once seemed impossible.
If you come across this post, my dear friend, start now, no matter how small. In the long run, you will receive so much more, and you will truly thank yourself for taking that first step.
It’s truly unbelievable how much can change in just one year—and in such a great way!
