Calmness is a human superpower.

Calmness is a human superpower.
The ability to stay calm—to not overreact or take things personally—keeps your mind clear and your heart at peace.
Since I was young, I had never been calm. I was always reactive, stressed, and anxious. If I had a task, I would rush to complete it as soon as possible. When multiple tasks piled up, I would become overwhelmed, and the stress would trigger headaches. Calmness was foreign to me. I mistakenly believed that being too compliant or taking my time with tasks was a weakness—until stress began to take a serious toll on my mental health and immune system. I ended up with shingles and an eye infection, and that was my wake-up call.
For the first time in my life, I took a month-long break from work—something I never thought I would do. That break led me to meet my current partner, who is the complete opposite of me. He is calm, wise, and incredibly attractive to me. Through him, I began to experience and understand the beauty and power of calmness. That’s when I made a vow to master this skill and claim this power for myself.
Over the years, I have practiced—and continue to practice—calmness, learning to manage my emotions better. I knew I had improved when, one day, at a live show, one of the hosts described me as calm. I was mind-blown. I never expected anyone to say that about me.
I could feel the change within myself, and even my partner noticed. He told me I had changed for the better over the years.
Of course, there were still times when I struggled—moments when life became overwhelming and staying calm felt impossible. But I’ve realized that calmness is a skill that requires constant practice. It’s a cycle of learning, applying, and refining until it becomes second nature.
Calmness is a powerful skill—one that I am determined to master with pride.
