It’s hard to change a habit.
And that’s normal.
You can know exactly what you should do and still find it difficult to do it.
Because habits aren’t just about knowing what’s healthy.
They’re connected to your routine, environment, emotions and daily cues.
You might know you should exercise…
…but you’re tired after work.
You might want to eat healthier…
…but your usual takeaway is just one click away.
You might want to sleep earlier…
…but you’re used to scrolling in bed.
Knowing what to do is one thing.
Changing what you automatically do is another.
So don’t try to change everything overnight.
Start by changing one behaviour.
Make it small enough to repeat.
Make your environment support it.
And expect it to feel uncomfortable at first.
Because a new habit often feels harder before it feels normal.
You don’t need to be perfect.
You just need to keep coming back to it.
Changing a habit takes practice, not perfection.
