Frequently Asked Questions

A) I am XX week , can I join the class?
It is usually recommended to wait until the second trimester (after 12 weeks) before starting prenatal fitness class, however if you have been exercising or practicing yoga prior to pregnancy it is OK to join, as long as you feel well.

B) Any certain condition I should not exercise?
You should not exercise if you have the following conditions or pregnancy complications listed below;

  1. Certain type of heart and lung diseases
  2. Cerclage
  3. Being pregnant with twins or triplets (or more) with risk factors for preterm labor
  4. Placenta previa after 26 weeks of pregnancy
  5. Preterm labor during this pregnancy or ruptured membranes (your water has broken)
  6. Preeclampsia or pregnancy-induced high blood pressure
  7. Severe anemia

C) How much is the class fee?

  • Walk-In per class is RM50.00 per person
    (Registration is needed beforehand to confirm class availability)
  • Monthly fee for all programs is RM40.00 per class and per person
    For example: There are 4 Prenatal Fitness classes available in March 2023, class fee would be RM40 x 4 = RM160

D) Where are you located?
We are located at D-1-48 Block Dahlia, 10 Boulevard, Lebuhraya Sprint PJU 6, 47400 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.

E) I never exercise before pregnancy, can I start now?
No fitness background or experience needed prior to joining our Prenatal Fitness Class. Exercising and doing movements during pregnancy will benefit you and your baby in so many ways;

  1. Reduces back pain
  2. Eases constipation
  3. May decrease your risk of gestational diabetes, preeclampsia, and cesarean birth
  4. Promotes healthy weight gain during pregnancy
  5. Improves your overall fitness and strengthens your heart and blood vessels
  6. Helps you to lose the baby weight after your baby is born

F) May I have more information about the Couple’s Prenatal Fitness Workshop?

G) When is the Prenatal Fitness Class?
The class is currently on every Monday from 6.30pm to 7.30pm. You are required to bring your yoga mat, sweat towel and drinking water.
