Born in Ipoh, the capital of the State of Perak Darul Ridzuan, Malaysia, Kylie Lim was academically conferred her Bachelor Degree of Science (with Honours) Biomedical Science (Second Class – Upper Division) from University of Tunku Abdul Rahman in the year 2013. Upon acquiring her professional qualification in dance (ballet & contemporary dance) and fitness, she has been teaching group classes in Celebrity Fitness Malaysia since 2015 wherein her teaching experiences have been wide-ranging from engaging with different students from varying demographic settings in terms of age, level of qualifications and backgrounds. Working in the fitness industry, she is exposed with a variety of programs and one of her main programs is Flexibility.
In her Flexibility classes, she has her own syllabus in which she incorporates movements, poses, techniques and also the Alexander Method of SMR (Level 1 & 2 Certified Trainer). With her burning passion in flexibility and teaching, she pursues yoga and recently in 2020, she enrolled as a 200hr Certified Yoga Teacher and has been actively teaching since. Her teaching manages to capture her students’ hearts as she focuses on personalised feedforward and her specialised poses are the Dancer’s Pose (Natarajasana), Forearm Stand (Pincha Mayurasana) and Scorpion Pose (Vrischikasana).
Last year in May, June, July, August and September 2022, she was invited to 8tv Living Delight to demonstrate yoga poses live on national television. She was invited recently in April 2023 to teach some yoga poses on 8tv. Watch the video below to find out more:
