ABOUT US

Established by Kylie Lim. Our Dance & Yoga studio is located in 10 Boulevard (D-1-48), Petaling Jaya, Selangor. Since 2008, Kylie Lim has been actively teaching and training, her teaching experiences have been wide-ranging from engaging with different students from varying demographic settings in terms of age, level of qualifications and background. Her core portfolio in her teaching career involves dance movements and floor work techniques, choreography, stage performance, competition and Hatha yoga. She is an expert in teaching and guiding adults dancers and yoga practitioners. She loves teaching them as she is passionate to guide them to explore and unleash their potentials.

Her message is ‘We Can Achieve Anything We Set Our Mind And Body To”. She is on her mission to create platform and opportunity for adults to shine and unleash their potentials. Her vision is to have a community that believes strongly in pursuing and achieving their dreams.

From a small community known as the ‘KCD Family’ to a bigger community known as the ‘KDYS Family’, we have each other to support in the journey of becoming Achievers and realising our dreams.

Since our opening, we have participated in more than 10 local and international competitions, multiple productions, events and workshops. Kylie, our founder was invited multiple times to our National TV (8tv) to teach and demonstrate yoga poses live.

Adult Ballet

We provide different dance programs mainly Adult Ballet (Beginner, Intermediate & Advanced),  Contemporary Dance Choreography (Kids, Adults Beginner, Multi-level & Intermediate) and Techniques & Drills classes. Other programs include Belly Dance (Beginners & Multi-Level) & Belly Dance Fitness.

Here we also provide Pre & Postnatal Fitness Class and Couples’ Prenatal Exercise Workshop. Our trainer, Loon Eng sets the framework for precisely programming exercises that are both safe and beneficial for pregnant moms.

On selected Sundays (usually once a month), we have Rachael to conduct ‘I Can Dance Too’, a dance class for special needs children. She created a dance class that is specially for them, adapting movement for different level of abilities.

Dance is a powerful tool not only for self-expression, but also for holistic well-being, as dance unites all aspects of an individual, mental, physical and emotional states. Dance helps create a sense of rhythm all of which enhances daily activities. It is a fun way to practice balance, coordination, motor skills, focus and awareness.
