Every emotion has a story to tell.

Every emotion has a story to tell.
If you are empathetic enough, you will be able to connect and truly feel what someone is sharing or even going through. Some people show sympathyβthey are with you, but they donβt truly understand. Have you come across these two types of people? If you have, you might be quite an emotional person yourself, in my perspective.
Empathetic people often drain themselves. Do you agree? I strongly do. Because we care too much sometimes, and it can be overwhelming. We understand emotions, and when someone expresses them, we are there. But not everyone is there for us in return. Thatβs why we need to learn how to let go, have no expectations, and do it because we want toβnot because we feel obliged to. Otherwise, we may even come across as unfriendly. Haha.
One thing I am truly grateful for in my life is having people who listen to my storiesβespecially my partner. I am actually a very emotional person, with so much to share and tell. Some people are willing to listen, while others listen just to respond or to please you.
What I deeply appreciate about my partner is that he listens to truly understand me, and he holds me with such depth and presence. I would like to take a moment in this post to truly thank my partner for always being there for me, especially when I am a deep mess. He is truly an amazing person. I love him so very much.

I have been told my sensitivity is default at blunt mode. Am working on upgrading to more empathetic edition. It could be happen to you also sometimes if you donβt get the same output you give out, it might just be that you bumped into someone running the same old software like me.
And I learned empathetic people drained themselves, thanks for sharing this.
I don’t know why but I miss you already today. Have a lovely day!
